Fife and Forth Valley Community Justice Authority provides a co-ordinated approach to planning and monitoring the delivery of community based Criminal Justice Social Work Services. The aim is to target services to reduce reoffending and ensure close working partnerships between community and prison services to aid the rehabilitation of offenders. The Chief Officer for Fife and Forth Valley Community Justice Authority is required to produce an Area Plan, in consultation with statutory and non-statutuory partners, and is responsible for the disbursement of funds, provided by the Scottish Government, to Local Authority Criminal Justice Social Work Services.
